do solo or with a group. So, what are you waiting for jump on the bike and have the ride
of your life.
Spinning is a low impact indoor cardio activity that replicates outdoor cycling; the bikes that are used are specially designed stationary bikes. Your instructor will guide you through sprints, hill climbs, intervals, descents and circuits a class can be in length 45 to 50 minutes and is set to upbeat music.
Spinning bikes are equipped with a weighted flywheel. The seats and handlebars are adjustable with a tension (resistance) knob below the handlebars which allows you to easily adjust the tension on your bike.
spinning workout intensity level is influenced by: cadence or pedal rate and
you will adjust the tension of the bike’s flywheel throughout the class;
your body position will either be a seated position or a standing position.
Here are some pointers to accomplishing a really great and successful ride.
If you really want to murder those calories, then try your hand at really pedaling fast and get that flywheel spinning and buzzing along at an incredible rate of speed.
If you want to build muscle use a slower speed with more tension applied to the flywheel.
